Umine
Another popular name for Phentermine, Umine is a short term appetite suppressant used for weight reduction in morbidly obese indivdiauls. Effects are similar to those of dextroamphetamine, but often less severe. However, studies have found Phentermine to be more effective for weight loss. It is sold exclusively through New Zealand based pharmacies. Medical professionals suggest that after a few weeks, when the effectiveness wears off, one should not increase the dose, but rather stop taking the medication at that time. One study showed that symptoms of depression improved among the morbidly obese when using Phentermine. However, other studies have shown it to worsen symptoms of depression among other things, and it may actually interact badly with MAOI inhibitors or certain other antidepressants.
