Is weight gain a pure result of excess stress? The makers of Relacore seems to think so. Relacore is a product produced and marketed by Basic Research addressing the issue of cortisol as it relates to body fat. Relacore features the use of Magnolia bark. Although not completely accurate that cortisol is related to stress hormones in the body can account for glucose metabolism. This may be the reason why that those that are stressed out tend to gain body fat. However, it is not the main reason for weight gain and body fat increases. Our research shows that Relacore’s formula features Magnolia bark which has been linked to combat anxiety, but the only problem is that there is no scientific evidence to confirm this in clinical studies. We have seen that the Magnolol and Honokiol chemicals found in magnolia bark can have anti-anxiety effects. But, the majority of weight loss and fat burning will not take place just because of possibly reducing anxiety. In fact, the FTC agree as they have warned several similar companies for making false and unsubstantiated claims. We feel that consumers should beware of their “free trial offers” that sign you up for expensive monthly orders.
