Obestin 30 is generally meant to be taken 30 minutes before meals 3 times per day, denoting an 8mg dosage on average or a higher dosage depending on your medical history and recommendations of your physician. Taking it late in the day could cause insomnia, and while they provide sustained release capsules, you should swallow the capsules whole, not crush or chew them. Doing so can release the Phentermine all at once and interfere with the intended use, also causing more side effects. The dosage is based on your medical conditions and response to therapy in general. It can result in dependency, but to avoid further and unnecessary side effects as well as severe weight gain, Obestin-30 should not be taken past an approximately 5 week period of time.
