Morbidly obese patients who have undergone weight loss surgery
to lose weight can also lose blood pressure points apart from
their excessive weight. A study led by John Fernstrom, research
director of UPMC Weight Management Center, took a closer look
at how blood pressure changed among people who had undergone
weight
loss surgery.
If a person's blood pressure is elevated
and he is obese, then losing weight will tend to help that.
For the study, the team reviewed the medical charts of almost
350 people who had a body mass index of 40 or greater and
had weight loss surgery between 1992 and 2001. Obesity is
a big health problem which can controlled with the help of
diet pills. Phentermine
and other diet pills can be extremely useful in this regard.
