The increasing waistlines and weight have always been grinned
and scrutinized and in this fattening and suffering mob, celebrities
are not exclusive.
Kelly Osbourne, daughter of rocker Ozzy, says she suffered
more for being fat than for using drugs because the pressure
to be thin in Hollywood is "a killer".
The 20-year-old "Life As We Know It" star admitted
that she was taking drugs before the chat-show "The Osbournes"
debuted on TV. But suddenly hearing she wasn't thin enough
or pretty enough was very painful, reports Ireland Online.
According to Kelly, it's an awful existence being famous
- because "you realize it's not about you. It's about
what others want you to be."
Last year, Kelly had to be admitted to a drug rehabilitation
clinic in California after divulging painkiller abuse. In
2003 she cancelled a European tour because of "health
reasons".
